Who We Are
The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs is the office designated by the College of Charleston to receive formal complaints of discrimination or harassment, including under Title IX. The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs was established at the College of Charleston to ensure equal opportunity for all members of our college community. Since its inception, the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs has sought to eliminate discrimination and harassment, and has overseen the College's non-discrimination
policies and investigation process for faculty, staff, and students. Please click

What We Do
The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs ensures prompt response to complaints of discrimination by students, employees, and/or applicants for employment or college admission based on the following: age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, national origin, pregnancy, race/color, retaliation, religion, sex/sexual harassment, veteran status and uniform services. The Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs is responsible for coordinating the grievance procedures under the Affirmative Action Program and federal equal opportunity guidelines.
